Join Safer Arizona in Phoenix and other cities worldwide, as we protest against cannabis prohibition in Arizona at Steele Indian School Park next to the VA Hospital on Indian School road.
We will assemble around 3:30 pm. We will have guest speakers over a public address system then go marching on a designated route.
The march is completed when we return to the park.
It will be hot so please bring water. Make signs, banners, safer shirts, and ensure your cameras are charged so we can have lots of pictures for social media.

Last Years Global Marijuana March
Last years Phoenix Global Marijuana march was on May 3rd. Over 100 people showed up in peaceful protest of cannabis prohibition. It started off with some music, speeches, corner protesting, and we got a lot of support from traffic passing by. At that event Safer Arizona was able to hand out 50 free safer shirts that said “marijuana is safer than alcohol” It was amazing. We then proceeded to march down Indian School road with our signs and banners chanting about cannabis law reform.
The Phoenix police protest crew ended up showing up to ensure we did not get hit by traffic. They were very supportive of our cause.
News Stations came out to film and interview protesters.
After the march we proceeded into Steel Indian School Park for live music, photo ops, and socializing.
We expect the 2015 Phoenix Global March to be bigger better and Safer. Join our Facebook event and invite all your friends. Help us make this huge. Lets make some noise in Phoenix Arizona!
